Jose
D. Roman
José D. Román is a trial attorney who concentrates in the areas of professional liability, public entity liability, premises liability, and insurance coverage litigation. He also handles a majority of the firm’s appeals to the New Jersey Supreme Court and Appellate Division. Mr. Román has gained recognition as one of New Jersey’s top young defense litigation attorneys.
He has been named a Rising Star in
Super Lawyers Magazine, from 2008 through 2010.*
Mr. Román joined the firm in 2003 after serving as a Law Clerk for The Honorable Amy P. Chambers, J.A.D. In January 2009, he became partner, and the firm name was changed to Powell & Román, LLC.
Mr. Román also devotes time to public service by representing clients who cannot afford an attorney through referrals from
Central Jersey Legal Services. He also encourages every attorney in the firm to donate their time to public service.
In his spare time, Mr. Román enjoys long distance running with his wife Jennifer.
