Laurie
S. Ross
Laurie S. Ross is an associate with the firm. She previously worked as an associate with Parsons, Powell & Lane, L.L.C. when she joined that firm as an associate in the fall of 2007. Ms. Ross practices in the area of insurance defense, including premises liability, automobile and labor law. She focuses primarily on New York litigation and is also licensed to practice in New Jersey.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Ross spent seven years as an associate in New York working at private defense firms. Her areas of practice encompassed a wide variety of insurance defense claims including premises liability, automobile accidents, construction site/labor law, home care attendant and day care agency cases. In addition, she has worked as an associate in New Jersey specializing in insurance defense including recreational liability claims. Ms. Ross also served as a judicial intern in Richmond County Supreme Court for the Honorable Louis Sangiorgio, Supervising Justice.
Ms. Ross is a 1993 graduate of St. John’s University School of Law. She earned her B.S. in Criminal Justice from St. John’s University in 1990. As an undergraduate, Ms. Ross was awarded the President’s Bronze Medal for academic excellence.
